Trooli
British full-fibre broadband provider
Trooli is a British alternative network operator and internet service provider that builds full-fibre (FTTP) broadband networks in towns and semi-rural villages in southern and eastern England and in parts of central Scotland. Based in Kings Hill, Kent, it covers about 480,000 premises and sells both directly to households and businesses and wholesale to other providers.
History
Trooli was launched in June 2018 as the consumer brand of Call Flow Solutions, a Kent network builder operating since 2002, after a period of privately funded rural fibre rollout in the county. By November 2020 its network passed 50,000 premises, supported by €30 million from the Connecting Europe Broadband Fund and a £5 million NatWest facility, and it moved to a new head office in Kings Hill in 2021. The network has since expanded across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, Dorset, East Sussex, Hampshire, Kent, Norfolk, Suffolk, West Sussex and Wiltshire, and into North Lanarkshire, South Lanarkshire and Fife over fibre formerly built by Axione UK. Trooli is backed by Agnar UK Infrastructure.
Its accounts for 2025, as reported by ISPreview, showed turnover up 27% to £11.8 million and a loss after tax of £23.3 million, with an average of 211 staff.
Services
Trooli sells symmetric full-fibre packages to homes and businesses, and launched a 5 Gbit/s residential tier in September 2026. Its network is also open to partner providers, including Olilo and MTH Networks, and through the wholesale platform PlatformX.
