James Cecil Higdon Jr. is an American politician who has served as a member of the Kentucky Senate since 2009. A member of the Republican Party, Higdon represents the Kentucky's 14th Senate district, which includes LaRue, Marion, Nelson, Spencer, and Washington counties. He currently serves as the chair of the senate transportation committee. Higdon is not running for reelection in 2026.
