Career
Tays began writing lyrics while at high school. He has said he first showed anyone his work after the rapper Aitch, a childhood friend, launched a verse challenge. He was also a promising boxer before choosing music. In late 2021 he appeared in a JD Sports Christmas advert alongside KSI and Central Cee, and in January 2022 he released the single "Perfect Girl". Later in 2022 he supported Aitch on a UK tour, and in March 2024 he headlined Canvas in Manchester as part of the BBC Radio 1Xtra UK Touchdown Tour.
He later turned to streaming and online videos, and Capital XTRA credits his 2024 appearance on the YouTube series Locked In with bringing him a wider audience. He streams and films challenge videos with Angryginge and Aitch, and Aitch has appeared on their podcast several times.
