Activism
Toms says he began campaigning at the age of fourteen in opposition to the COVID-19 lockdowns. His work includes street interviews, public debates, media appearances and grassroots campaigning on digital ID, facial recognition technology, free speech, national identity and immigration. On his website he describes his aims as opposing "authoritarian state control" and "the demographic replacement of our native people".
In July 2025 he was arrested at Pride in London while wearing a placard reading "🏳️⚧️ = Mental Illness". According to reports, he was detained for more than ten hours and placed under investigation; he spoke about the arrest on Talk. He later told GB News that the UK government's digital ID plans were "mission creep" that could lead to a "social credit-style system".
Freedom Watch GB
Toms founded Freedom Watch GB, which calls itself "the youth voice of Britain" and holds debates on the streets, at universities and online. In October 2026 he said a Freedom Watch GB debate stall in Brighton had been mobbed, that he had been spat on and that the group's gazebo had been destroyed. He said police had found and were interviewing a suspect.
Media and online presence
He has been a guest on podcasts and shows including The Current Thing, The Peter McCormack Show, Heretics with Andrew Gold and The Richie Allen Show. He posts debates and commentary on X, Instagram, YouTube and Facebook. As of October 2026 his verified Instagram account had about 400,000 followers and his X account about 115,000.
