Miguel Mora
American actor
Miguel Mora is an actor known for playing Robin Arellano in the horror film The Black Phone (2022) and Robin's brother Ernesto in its sequel, Black Phone 2 (2025), both directed by Scott Derrickson.
Career
Mora was cast as Robin, a boy abducted by the killer known as the Grabber, in The Black Phone, which also starred Ethan Hawke, Mason Thames and Madeleine McGraw. In November 2023 Deadline reported that he would return for the sequel along with Hawke, Thames, McGraw and Jeremy Davies. In Black Phone 2, released in October 2025, he plays a new character, Ernesto Arellano, Robin's brother.
He also had a guest role in a 2024 episode of the CBS legal drama So Help Me Todd.
Background
Mora is from Arizona. In a 2025 interview with Remezcla he described himself as Mexican-American and said he was proud that both of his Black Phone characters are Mexican-American. He has credited his mother with starting his acting career.
