Mark Florkowski (Mark R. Florkowski) is a software engineer and the co-founder and chief technology officer of Ping Labs, the San Francisco company behind the T3 Chat AI app, T3 Code and UploadThing.
Career
Florkowski earned a Bachelor of Science in computer systems engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (2014–2018) and later worked as a support engineer at Retool, the internal-tools software company. In 2021 Florkowski and Theo Browne (T3) founded Ping Labs, with Browne as chief executive, and the company went through the Y Combinator accelerator in its Winter 2022 batch. The company's site credits its software to Browne, Florkowski and engineer Julius Marminge.
Projects
Florkowski's personal site and GitHub profile jokingly give the title "click-to-copy button expert", and the site lists such buttons contributed to projects including react.dev, Astro's website, AutoAnimate, init.tips and UploadThing. In 2025 Florkowski published NeverJust, a short open-source guide to better developer communication, at neverjust.net.
