Martin Haase

Martin Haase (born 25 October 1962 in Dortmund) is a German linguist, Romanist, Esperantist and podcaster. He studied at the University of Cologne, where he earned a Master of Arts in 1988 and a doctorate in 1991, and taught at Osnabrück University from 1992 to 1997 before serving as a professor at the University of Bremen from 2001 to 2002. He has worked at the University of Bamberg since October 2002 and is a member of the Chaos Computer Club, the German Esperanto Institute and the International Academy of Sciences San Marino. On Mastodon, his account maha@chaos.social had about 3,200 followers in April 2024.
