The Gifted is an American superhero television series created by Matt Nix for Fox. Based on Marvel Comics featuring the superhero team the X-Men, it is set in an alternate timeline to the X-Men film series where the X-Men have disappeared. The show was produced by 20th Century Fox Television in association with Marvel Television, with Nix serving as showrunner.
