The Czech Pirate Party, commonly known as the Pirates (Piráti), is a liberal political party in the Czech Republic. Founded in 2009 as part of the international Pirate movement, it initially focused on digital rights, copyright reform, government transparency and civil liberties. Its programme later expanded to include anti-corruption measures, the digitalisation of public administration, environmental protection and a pro-European foreign policy.
