David Cirici
Spanish writer
David Cirici (born 11 February 1954) is a Spanish writer from Barcelona who writes in Catalan and Spanish. His work spans fiction, poetry, children's and young adult literature, literary criticism and screenwriting, and he has also worked as a teacher, blogger and online streamer and been employed by Ara. His awards include the Prudenci Bertrana Prize in 2011, the Edebé Award of Children's and Youth Literature in 2012, the Premio Vaixell de Vapor in 2015, the Premi Sant Jordi de novel·la in 2016 and the Prize Cento in 2017. He is a member of the Associació d'Escriptors en Llengua Catalana, PEN Català and Germans Miranda.
