Honeywell International Inc. was an American publicly traded, multinational automation corporation headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina. It primarily operated in three areas of business: building automation, industrial automation, and energy and sustainability solutions (ESS). Honeywell also operates Sandia National Laboratories under contract with the U.S. Department of Energy. Honeywell was a Fortune 500 company, ranked 115th in 2023. In 2025, the corporation had a global workforce of approximately 101,000 employees. As of 2025, its chairman and chief executive officer was Vimal Kapur.
