Daniel Owen Woolgar Jarvis is a British politician and former Army officer who has served as Minister of State for Security since July 2026, having previously held the role from 2024 to June 2026. He previously served as Secretary of State for Defence from June to July 2026. A member of the Labour and Co-operative Party, he has been the Member of Parliament (MP) for Barnsley North, formerly Barnsley Central, since 2011.
