Russell Bonner Bentley

Russell Bonner Bentley (born 20 June 1960 in Austin), known by the pseudonyms Texas and Donbass Cowboy, was an American-born pro-Putin militant, war correspondent and YouTuber in Donbass. He served with the 114th Separate Guards Motorized Rifle Brigade, worked for Sputnik and was a member of the movement Essence of Time. He took citizenship of the Donetsk People's Republic in 2017 and of Russia in 2021, and wrote in English and Russian. He died no later than 8 April 2024.
