He is best known for portraying John / Homelander in the satirical superhero series The Boys and its spin-offs (2019–2026), as well as the dual roles of Jethro and Van West in the series Outrageous Fortune (2005–2010) and Lucas Hood in the Cinemax series Banshee (2013–2016).
