Alex Ramírez

Alexander Ramón Ramírez Quiñónez, nicknamed Ramichan (ラミちゃん), is a Venezuelan-born former professional baseball outfielder known for his time in Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB). He holds the all time hit record for a foreign player in NPB with 2,017 and is the only foreigner to reach the 2,000 mark. He was inducted into the Japanese Baseball Hall of Fame in 2023 and the Venezuelan Baseball Hall of Fame in 2025.
