Melissa Benn

Melissa Ann Benn is a British journalist and writer. She is known for her writing on a wide range of subjects, including contemporary women’s lives and feminism, and for her campaigning in support of comprehensive education. Benn set up the Local Schools Network in 2010, a pro-state schools pressure group, was Chair of Comprehensive Future from 2014-2018 and is a founder member of the Private Education Policy Forum.
