Karan Rajan

Karan Rajan is a British surgeon, lecturer and internet personality, born in Mumbai and educated at Imperial College London. He lectures at the University of Sunderland and makes health information videos for social media, and he is the author of the book This Book May Save Your Life. His YouTube channel, Dr Karan, had about 2.15 million subscribers in April 2025. He is also the founder of LOAM Science and chief of science at Throne Science, with work focused on gut health.
