Matthew James Salmon is an American politician who served as a U.S. representative from Arizona from 1995 to 2001 and again from 2013 until 2017. A member of the Republican Party, he previously served as the chair of the Arizona Republican Party from 2005 to 2007, and as a member of the Arizona Senate from 1991 to 1995.
