Daniel Lakens (born 18 July 1980 in Rotterdam) is an experimental psychologist who has worked in the Human-Technology Interaction group at Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands since receiving his PhD in social psychology in 2010. His research focuses on how to design and interpret studies, applied (meta-)statistics, and reward structures in science. He is a presenter of the podcast Nullius in Verba, and his account on X had about 28,100 followers in February 2023.
