François Legault is a Canadian politician and businessman who served as the 32nd premier of Quebec from 2018 to 2026. A founding member of the Coalition Avenir Québec (CAQ), he led the party from its inception in 2011 until his resignation in 2026. Legault sat as a member of the National Assembly (MNA) from 2012 to 2026, and previously from 1998 to 2009.
