Christopher A. Alexander is a Canadian diplomat and politician who was the minister of citizenship and immigration from 2013 to 2015. A member of the Conservative Party, Alexander was the member of Parliament (MP) for Ajax—Pickering from 2011 to 2015. Before entering politics, Alexander worked in the Canadian Foreign Service and was the Canadian ambassador to Afghanistan from 2003 to 2005.
