Kate Mulgrew

Katherine Kiernan Maria Mulgrew is an American actress and author. She is best known for playing Captain Kathryn Janeway in Star Trek: Voyager (1995–2001) and Red in Orange Is the New Black (2013–2019). She first came to attention in the role of Mary Ryan in the daytime soap opera Ryan's Hope.
