Georges Laraque is a Haitian-Canadian politician, author, radio host, and former professional ice hockey player noted for being one the most successful hockey enforcers of his time. He was drafted 31st overall by the Edmonton Oilers of the National Hockey League (NHL) in 1995, and spent the majority of his career as an Oiler.
