Sayuri Sugimoto is a Japanese former rhythmic gymnast and captain of the national group. At the 2019 World Championships, she led Japan to its first-ever World title. She is a 2019 World group all-around silver medalist and a 2017 World group all-around bronze medalist. She represented Japan at the 2016 and 2020 Summer Olympics.
