Trent Edward Thornton is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Chicago Cubs of Major League Baseball (MLB). He has previously played in MLB for the Toronto Blue Jays and Seattle Mariners. He debuted in MLB with Toronto in 2019 as a starting pitcher before moving to a relief role beginning in 2021.
