George Harrison

George Harrison (25 February 1943 – 29 November 2001) was an English musician who achieved international fame with the Beatles, in which he initially played lead guitar and later adopted rhythm and bass guitar, organ, and non-Western instruments. Known as "the quiet Beatle", Harrison played a significant role in shaping the band's musical direction and established a successful solo career, particularly through his interest in Eastern musical influences.
