Andreas D. Mavroyiannis

Andreas D. Mavroyiannis is a Cypriot diplomat and politician who served as Cyprus' Ambassador and Representative to the United Nations, European Union, France, and Ireland. He was an unsuccessful candidate in the 2023 presidential election. He served as Deputy Minister of European Affairs and as negotiator for the Cyprus problem (2013-2022). He is currently the Chairmain of the International Law Commission of the United Nations.
