Vodafone Italy

Vodafone Italy was an Italian telecommunications company, active between 1994 and 2025. Originally founded as Omnitel, it was part of the Vodafone Group for most of its existence. On 31 December 2024, the company was acquired by the Swiss group Swisscom for €8 billion and subsequently integrated into its Italian subsidiary, Fastweb. Following the acquisition, the combined operations began being managed under the corporate identity Fastweb + Vodafone.
