Toni Abela
Politician, Maltese Labour party
Toni Abela (born 2 July 1957) is a Maltese lawyer, former politician and retired judge. He was deputy leader of the Labour Party from 2008 to 2016 and served as a judge of the Civil Court from 2016 until June 2025. He was sworn in as Malta's first Commissioner for Standards of the Judiciary in December 2025.
