Brian J. Dooley

Brian J. Dooley is an Irish human rights activist and author. He is Senior Advisor at Washington DC–based NGO Human Rights First. He was awarded the 2025 University of Oslo's Human Rights Award. Since 2023 he had been an Honorary Professor of Practice at Queen's University Belfast's Institute for Global Peace, Security and Justice, and is a visiting scholar at University College London (UCL).
