Chris Andrews

Chris Andrews is an Irish Sinn Féin politician who has served as a senator for the Labour Panel since January 2025. He was previously a Fianna Fáil politician and a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Dublin South-East constituency from 2007 to 2011, then, after a gap of nine years, he was a Sinn Féin TD for the Dublin Bay South constituency from 2020 to 2024. While a senator, he participated in the 2025 Global Sumud Flotilla and was kidnapped on the way to Gaza by the Israeli Navy and held at Ktzi'ot Prison before he was released after several days in captivity in early October 2025.
