Chris Philp

Christopher Ian Brian Mynott Philp is a British politician who has served as Shadow Home Secretary since November 2024. A member of the Conservative Party, he has been the Member of Parliament (MP) for Croydon South since 2015. The Minister of State for Crime, Policing and Fire from October 2022 to July 2024, Philp previously served in Liz Truss's Cabinet from September to October 2022 as Chief Secretary to the Treasury and then as Minister for the Cabinet Office and Paymaster-General.
