Sergey Smbatyan is an Armenian conductor. He is the founding Artistic Director and Principal Conductor of the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra, and Principal Conductor at Malta Philharmonic Orchestra since 2019. He is also the Artistic Director of the Khachaturian International Competition.
