Joe Dante

Joe Dante (born 28 November 1946) is an American film director, screenwriter, film editor, producer and actor from Morristown who has worked since 1968. He studied at The University of the Arts and has also worked as a television producer. Since July 2018 he has been a podcaster on The Movies That Made Me, and he received the Time Machine Award in 2010. His account on X had about 77,000 followers in February 2023.
