Jacques Martin Mézard is a French lawyer and politician who has served as a member of the Constitutional Council since 2019. A member of the Radical Party of the Left (PRG), he previously served as Minister of Agriculture and Food in 2017 and Minister of Territorial Cohesion from 2017 to 2018 under Prime Minister Édouard Philippe. He was a Senator for the Cantal department from 2008 to 2017 and again from 2018 until 2019, presiding over the European Democratic and Social Rally group from 2011 to 2017.
