Preet Bharara
American lawyer and former United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York
Preet Bharara (born 13 October 1968 in Firozpur) is an American lawyer, prosecutor and podcaster who formerly served as United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York. He was educated at Harvard College and Columbia Law School. He has worked for the United States Department of Justice, the law firms Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher and Swidler Berlin Shereff Friedman, and New York University School of Law. His X (Twitter) account,
