Robert M. Hazen

Robert Miller Hazen is an American mineralogist and astrobiologist. He is a research scientist at Carnegie Institution for Science's Earth and Planets Laboratory and Clarence Robinson Professor of Earth Sciences Emeritus at George Mason University, in the United States. Hazen launched the Deep Carbon Observatory in 2009 and served as its Executive Director until 2019.
