James Fishback

American politician

James Fishback (born January 1, 1995) is an American investor and politician. He unsuccessfully ran for the Republican nomination in the 2026 Florida gubernatorial election. During his campaign, Fishback drew national media attention for far-right rhetoric, which was characterized as racist, nativist, and white nationalist. He has leveraged widely disproven and debunked white genocide and Great Replacement conspiracy theories to stoke fear mongering and mobilize his base, a tactic political observers have characterized as deliberate "rage-bait" strategizing.
