Omar Samra

Omar Samra is an Egyptian adventurer, entrepreneur, motivational speaker, and analogue astronaut. He is known as the first Egyptian to summit Mount Everest and the first Egyptian to complete the Explorers Grand Slam, which consists of climbing the highest peak on each continent and skiing to both the North and South Poles. Samra is also active in adventure travel entrepreneurship, hospitality, conservation initiatives, and research related to human performance in extreme environments, especially space.
