Linus Boman

Linus Boman is a designer, typographer, lettering artist and YouTuber who was born in Sweden, grew up in Australia, worked in London for more than a decade and now lives in Malmö. He specialises in branding and visual identity and has worked on custom typefaces for clients including River Island and Raiffeisen Bank, as well as on the programming and fitting of Atkinson Hyperlegible for the Braille Institute of America. He is best known for Calligraphuck, which pairs four-letter words with flourished calligraphic lettering; after crowdfunding in 2013 it was developed with Chronicle Books into a product line that has sold more than half a million items. On his YouTube channel, Linus on Letters, he explains design for a general audience; it had about 180,000 subscribers in April 2025.
