The Retreat, commonly known as the York Retreat, was a place in England, established in 1796, for the treatment of people with mental health needs. Located in Lamel Hill in York, it operated as a not for profit charitable organisation. In December 2018, The Retreat withdrew from the delivery of inpatient services after over 200 years.
