Dan Savage

Dan Savage (born 7 October 1964) is an American sex advice columnist, author, journalist, podcaster and gay rights campaigner from Chicago. He has written the sex and relationship advice column Savage Love since 1991, and he hosts the Savage Lovecast, an advice podcast, and Sex & Politics, a politics podcast with extended interviews. His books include Savage Love from A-Z, Skipping Towards Gomorrah and The Commitment, and his awards include a Lambda Literary Award and Humanist of the Year in 2013. He studied at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
