Rohan Abeyaratne is a Sri Lankan born American academic and engineer and the Quentin Berg Professor of Mechanics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He was the CEO & Director of the Singapore–MIT Alliance for Research and Technology, and prior to that the Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at MIT.
