Yannic Kilcher

Yannic Kilcher is a Swiss machine learning researcher, engineer and YouTuber who received a doctorate in artificial intelligence from ETH Zurich in 2021. On his YouTube channel he makes videos about recent machine learning research, including paper analyses, programming projects and a series called ML News; the channel had about 304,000 subscribers in November 2025. He is a founder of Open Assistant and is affiliated with LAION. He also runs a second channel, Yannic Out Of Distribution, for miscellaneous content.
