M. Shamsher Ali, also known as Allama M. Shamser Ali, was a Bangladeshi physicist, educator and Islamic scholar. He served as the President of the Bangladesh Academy of Sciences, Vice-Chancellor of Southeast University, and the founding Vice-Chancellor of Bangladesh Open University.
