Gakuryū Ishii

Gakuryū Ishii , formerly known as Sogo Ishii , is a Japanese filmmaker known for his stylistic punk films, which helped spark the cyberpunk movement in Japan. A number of contemporary filmmakers including Quentin Tarantino have cited Ishii's films as an influence.
