Joseph Brennen Barksdale is an American singer-songwriter, electric guitar player, and former professional football player who was an offensive tackle in the National Football League (NFL). Born in Detroit, Michigan, he attended Louisiana State University on a full-ride football scholarship. He was selected by the Oakland Raiders in the third round of the 2011 NFL draft. He played college football for the LSU Tigers. He also played for the St. Louis Rams, San Diego / Los Angeles Chargers, and Arizona Cardinals.
