Roni Valero
Israeli TikTok user seen in a 2026 Netanyahu video
Roni Valero (Hebrew: רוני ולרו) is an Israeli TikTok user who drew wide attention online in March 2026 after appearing for a few seconds in a video posted by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, filmed at the Sataf café in the Jerusalem hills where she was working. On social media she was widely called "Netanyahu's barista".
Netanyahu video
Netanyahu posted the short video on 15 March 2026 to dismiss rumours about his death; in it he orders a coffee at the café. Clips and stills of Valero, seen taking his order, spread widely online. The café's owner told N12 that the visit had not been arranged with the café, and the café asked the media not to publish her details. On 18 March 2026 Israeli outlets including Israel Hayom, Walla and ICE reported her name after she opened a TikTok account. According to Mako, she wrote on X that she was not in fact a barista and had only taken the order, and her family said that some images of her circulating online had been altered with AI.
TikTok
Her first TikTok video passed 100,000 views within a day. She then deleted it and, according to Israel Hayom, took her account down, before returning on 24 March 2026 with a video in which she sang along to Adir Gatz's song "Zirat Igruf". It reached nearly 300,000 views within a day, and Netanyahu's verified TikTok account commented on it "Are you not AI?"; Mako suggested the comment was probably written by his office or social media team.
