Career

BunnaB, born Ereunna McCoy, grew up on the east side of Atlanta. Her first commercial single, "My Man", came out in July 2023 after a snippet of it spread on TikTok. She then signed with Atlantic Records, which released several of her singles in 2023 and 2024; she told The Fader that the label dropped her in January 2025.

Releasing independently, she had streaming success with "No Drought" and "Awf Da Perky", and signed a deal with Artist Partner Group (APG). Her debut EP, Ice Cream Summer, came out in April 2025. "Bunna Summa", released two weeks later, became her biggest song: it peaked at number 27 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart in July 2025, and Pitchfork called it "a classic Atlanta block party anthem". A 14-track deluxe edition, Bunna Summa (Ice Cream Summer Deluxe), followed in June 2025, including "Innit" with YKNiece. The Fader profiled her in its GEN F series in October 2025.
