Description	—	Jeannine Cavender-Bares is Professor of Organismic and Evolutionary Biology at Harvard University and Director of the Harvard University Herbaria. She is a founding chair of the Harvard University Biodiversity and Planetary Stewardship initiative (HUBS), and of the Harvard Forest Leadership Committee, and serves on the Board of Tutors of the Environmental Science and Public Policy Concentration.
